DESCRIPTION:Being surrounded by the beauty of the Cape feels like we’re l
 iving in a postcard! On this early morning walk we’ll slow down to immer
 se ourselves in the Preserve’s beautiful kaleidoscope of sights and soun
 ds\, then pause to sketch or write about a small feature or larger scene\,
  or just sit quietly and contemplate—your choice\, personal\, and for yo
 u only. No writing or art experience needed\, and all supplies provided. P
 lease bring your cell phone for taking pictures to sketch or write from. L
 ater\, from 5-7 pm\, you may wish to attend the Addison Gallery’s (Orlea
 ns) opening of “Preserving Our Land and Life\,” benefiting Harwich Con
 servation Trust and featuring paintings of the Preserve. \nMeet at 7:45 a
 m to sign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 8. Hosted by S
 ue Moynihan with Sweep TBD. Read to the bottom for directions to the meeti
 ng point. \nPrerequisite: Instructional clinic and interest in nature obse
 rvation\, journaling or sketching\nDistance: ~1.3 miles. No shorter or tur
 n-back option.\nPace: Slow\, with several stops\, focused on nature observ
 ation. 15-20 minutes for reflection\, writing\, or sketching.\nTerrain: Le
 vel\, hard-packed path\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast whe
 n booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of 
 personal and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be 
 allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the eleme
 nts. Choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to pr
 otect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 wa
 lk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Carry bug spray.\n 	Mix of sun 
 &amp\; shade.\n 	No restroom or water available. Bring tissue in a plastic
  bag in case of a bio break need. \n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel
  your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time so other wal
 kers may join.\n\nWalk may be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weat
 her (steady rain\, thunder/lightning\, heat index of 91 degrees or higher)
  or other reasons. Cancellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in
