DESCRIPTION:The Outer Cape has long been a muse for artists and writers. As
  we meander along a heathland bluff high above the Atlantic\, we’ll let 
 the sights and sounds of the closing day provide inspiration as we pause t
 o observe\, sketch\, photograph\, or journal about a found object or the s
 cene\, or just reflect quietly on nature—your choice\, personal\, and fo
 r you only. No writing or art experience necessary\, and all supplies prov
 ided. Bonus: full rising Strawberry Moon! 🍓🌝 \nMeet at 5:45 pm to s
 ign in and stretch. We’ll begin walking promptly at 6. Hosted by Sue Moy
 nihan with Sweep TBD. Read to the bottom for directions to the meeting poi
 nt. \nPrerequisite: Instructional clinic\; interest in nature observation\
 , journaling\, photographing\, or sketching\; and ability to meet the dist
 ance and pace over uneven terrain\nDistance: ~2.2 miles. No shorter or tur
 n-back option.\nPace: Slow to moderate\, with several stops. About 20 minu
 tes of reflection\, writing\, sketching.\nTerrain: Hard-packed sand path a
 nd a short stretch of asphalt. Rubber tips needed. \nFor Your Safety: Cons
 ider the weather forecast when booking a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON AL
 L WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety\, if you arrive wit
 hout water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress for the weather and pr
 otect yourself from the elements. Choose appropriate footwear for trail co
 nditions. Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active 
 year-round.\n\n\n 	Limit 1 walk per day.\n 	Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n 	Ru
 bber tips required. \n 	Route is not near water\, so bugs should not be an
  issue\, but suggest carrying spray just in case. \n 	Restroom and water a
 vailable.\n 	If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24
  hours in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nThis wa
 lk is authorized under a National Park Service Special Use Permit.\nWalk m
 ay be canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Ca
 ncellation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. **Check your

 e driving to the walk.** If a walk is canceled\, registrants will receive 
 a system-generated email\, and the walk will no longer be visible in the e

 ion Site\, Wellfleet.\nDirections: Rt. 6 to Marconi Station Road in South 
 Wellfleet. After turning onto Marconi Station Road\, bear left at the firs
 t fork and proceed past the National Seashore HQ building until the road e
