DESCRIPTION:Explore the wooded trails of the property donated to the Harwic
 h Conservation Trust by William and Barbara Hacker in the Island Pond Cons
 ervation Lands.  Pass by Katie's Pond and visit the Cape Cod Lavender Far
 m and gift shop.  Enjoy some lavender lemonade and a couple of surprises.
  Bring money for  a quick stop in the gift shop.\n\nMeet at 9:45 for sign
 -in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 10:00. Hosted by Barbie Li
 ftman with Sweep TBD.\n\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic and ability
  to walk at a moderate pace on both wooded and paved terrain.\n\n—Distan
 ce: 3.5.  Distance and time are approximate. No turn-back or shorter opti
 on.\n\n—Pace: Miderare with occasional  breaks.\n\n—Terrain: Level\, 
 wooded trails and bike path.  Rubber tips for paved surfaces.\n\nFor Your
  Safety: Consider the weather forecast when making your RSVP decision. WAT
 ER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group sa
 fety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dres
 s for the weather and choose appropriate footwear for trail conditions.  
  Use repellent to protect yourself from ticks\, which are active year-rou
 nd.\n\n—Limit 1 walk per day.\n\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n-- Come 
 prepared for sun\, poison ivy and biting insects.\n\n—Restrooms and wate
 r are not available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break 
 need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cancel your RSVP at least 24 hou
 rs in advance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be
  canceled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancell
 ation decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email 
 (including spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, regis
 trants will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer b
 e visible in the event listing or on the calendar.  Check this event for 
 last minute notifications before heading out.\n\nDirections: Exit 82 to Ro
 ute 124 South to the end.  Left on Route 39.  Park at the Harwich Town H
 all toward the back of the lot.
