DESCRIPTION:Three Ponds\n\nAdvanced\, West Yarmouth\, 4.2 miles\, Thursday\
 n\nEnjoy Sandy Pond\, Horse Pond and Bassetts Ponds in West Yarmouth. We w
 ill walk along the eastern edge of Sandy Pond and then walk to Horse Pond.
  We will then walk along the northern edge of Horse Pond. We will then hea
 d to Bassetts Pond and return through the Horse Pond Conservation Area.\n\
 nMeet at 12:45 PM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 
 1:00 PM. Hosted by Mike Obremski with Sweep Pam Obremski.\n\n—Prerequisi
 te: Instructional Clinic plus 2 CCNW walks of 3-4 miles.\n\n—Distance: 4
 .2 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n—Pace: Fast (21-23 Minute M
 iles).\n\n—Terrain: Mostly flat with pine needle covered trails. There a
 re a couple inclines and brief portion on sand. There are a few section wi
 th roots and rocks. There is also a street crossing and a small section of
  pavement.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking 
 a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal a
 nd group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to
  walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choos
 e appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect your
 self from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n- Limit 1 walk per day.\
 n\n- Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n- Carbide tips recommended.\n\n— Season
 al restrooms are available. Water is available. Bring tissue in a plastic 
 bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly cance
 l your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time if your pla
 ns change. This will allow other walkers to signup.\n\nWalk may be cancele
 d\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation de
 cision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (includi
 ng spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants w
 ill receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visibl
 e in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: 482 Buck Island 
 Road\, West Yarmouth. Take the second left after entering the park just pa
 st the softball field. Park in the back behind the seasonal bathrooms and 
 playground.
