DESCRIPTION:Three Ponds\n\nAdvanced\, West Yarmouth\, 4.2 miles\, Thursday\
 n\nEnjoy Sandy Pond\, Horse Pond and Bassetts Ponds in West Yarmouth. We w
 ill walk along the eastern edge of Sandy Pond and then walk to Horse Pond.
  We will then walk along the northern edge of Horse Pond. We will then hea
 d to Bassetts Pond and return through the Horse Pond Conservation Area.\n\
 nMeet at 9:15 AM for sign-in and stretching to begin walking promptly at 9
 :30 AM. Hosted by Mike Obremski with Sweep Pam Obremski.\n\n—Prerequisit
 e: Instructional Clinic plus 2 CCNW walks of 3-4 miles.\n\n—Distance: 4.
 0 miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n\n—Pace: Fast (21-23 Minute Mi
 les).\n\n—Terrain: Mostly flat with pine needle covered trails. There ar
 e a couple inclines and brief portion on sand. There are a few section wit
 h roots and rocks. There is also a street crossing and a small section of 
 pavement.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when booking a
  walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal an
 d group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to 
 walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Choose
  appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yours
 elf from ticks\, which are active year-round.\n\n- Limit 1 walk per day.\n
 \n- Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n- Carbide tips recommended.\n\n— A porta
 ble restroom is available. Water is not available. Bring tissue in a plast
 ic bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n—If your plans change\, kindly ca
 ncel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of walk start time if your 
 plans change. This will allow other walkers to signup.\n\nWalk may be canc
 eled\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation
  decision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (incl
 uding spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrant
 s will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be vis
 ible in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: 482 Buck Isla
 nd Road\, West Yarmouth. Take the second left after entering the park just
  past the softball field. Park in the back behind the seasonal bathrooms a
 nd playground.
