 his is a challenging walk over a variety of terrain\, but primarily soft s

  and see if this walk is for you.\n\nMeet by 5:15 PM (There is no fee afte
 r 5 PM) for some stretching to begin walking at 5:30 PM (walk is tide depe
 ndent). Hosted by Debbie Zinck and Sweep TBD.\n\n*Prerequisite: Instructio
 nal clinic and at least two recent CCNW 4+ mile walks\, at a steady pace\
 , on varied terrain\, with fewer breaks.\n\n*Distance: 4+ miles.\n\n*Pace:
  Moderate to Fast as terrain allows\, with fewer stops (22-23 minute mile)
 .\n\n*Terrain: On the marsh side: short paved path leading to trail with a
  LOT of soft sand\, some uneven gravel/rocks and a high soft sand dune tha
 t leads to the beach.\nOn the beach side: hard and sift-packed sand with m
 any sections of assorted size rocks. UNLESS THERE ARE CLOUDS THIS WALK IS 
 IN FULL SUN.\n\nFor Your Safety: Consider the weather forecast when bookin
 g a walk. WATER MUST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal
  and group safety\, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed 
 to walk. Dress for the weather and protect yourself from the elements. Cho
 ose appropriate footwear for trail conditions. Use repellent to protect yo
 urself from ticks\, which are active.\n\n* Limit 1 walk per day to give ot
 hers the chance to walk.\n\n* Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n\n* Rubber tips ar
 e recommended\, sand baskets if you use them.\n\n* Restrooms and water are
  available. Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n\n
 * If your plans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in a
 dvance of walk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nWalk may be cancel
 ed\, changed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation d
 ecision will be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (includ
 ing spam) before driving to the walk. If a walk is canceled\, registrants 
 will receive a system-generated email and the walk will no longer be visib
 le in the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: Please use 425 
 Sandy Neck Road in Sandwich as the address for your GPS. Once you turn ont
 o Sandy Neck Road\, pass the check-in house and continue straight to an up
 per parking lot and park. In case of overflow\, park in the lower lot.
