 ety: Consider the weather forecast when making your RSVP decision. WATER M
 UST BE CARRIED ON ALL WALKS! In consideration of personal and group safety
 \, if you arrive without water\, you will not be allowed to walk. Dress fo
 r the weather and protect yourself from the elements.  Choose appropriate
  footwear for trail conditions.  Use repellent to protect yourself from t
 icks\, which are active year-round.  Wear blaze orange during hunting sea
 son (except for Sundays).\n\nMeet at 1:45 a.m. for sign-in and stretching 
 to begin walking promptly at 2:00 p.m. Hosted by Barbie Liftman with Sweep
  TBD.\n—Prerequisite: Instructional Clinic\, prior CCNW walk of 5+ miles
  and ability to walk at a moderate\, sustained pace with few breaks.\n—D
 istance: 7.2miles. No turn-back or shorter option.\n—Pace: Moderate pace
  with few breaks.\n—Terrain: All wooded trails\, lots of roots and rocks
 .  Modest elevation gains.  Carbide tips only.  Sturdy hiking shoes or 
 boots recommended.  This 7.2 mile walk around five ponds is entirely wood
 ed and affords spectacular pond views and photo ops.\n\n—Limit 1 walk pe
 r day.\n—Wear your CCNW ID badge.\n—Restrooms and water not available.
  Bring tissue in a plastic bag in case of a bio break need.\n—If your pl
 ans change\, kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours in advance of wa
 lk start time so other walkers may join.\n\nMass DCR parking pass or paid 
 parking not required after October 13.  \n\nWalk may be canceled\, chang
 ed\, or rescheduled for weather or other reasons. Cancellation decision wi
 ll be made at least 2 hours in advance. Check your email (including spam) 
 before driving to the walk.  If a walk is canceled\, registrants will rec
 eive a system-generated email\, and the walk will no longer be visible in 
 the event listing or on the calendar.\n\nDirections: Enter Nickerson State
  Park at main gate.   Take the FIRST major left towards Flax Pond.  Do 
 not park at Flax Pond but follow road to the end and park at the Cliff Pon
 ds lot.
